2019 Juneteenth Celebration – Downtown Norwich!

The 2019 Juneteenth Celebration was held in Downtown Norwich, at the corner of Bath Street and Franklin Street.

This relatively more intimate venue, as compared to the size of Howard T. Brown Park, brought a more family-oriented atmosphere and many people said how much they enjoyed the feeling of the site and the festivities this year.

Please browse through the gallery of photos – we haven’t completed all the tagging and updates yet, but enjoy the images while we work on it!

2019 Juneteenth Craft and Merchandise Vendor Form Now Available!

We’d love to have you as a Craft or Merchandise Vendor for the 2019 Juneteenth Festival in Downtown Norwich – we’ve moved the festival to the corner of Franklin Street and Bath Street, right near the old Norwich Bulletin building, and just up the street from Epicure Brewery and These Guys restaurant.

The move to the corner of Franklin & Bath streets means we have room for more vendors and we’re planning for bounce houses, water slides, a performance area and TONS of fun!

Many thanks to Global City Norwich and Suki Lagrito for her much-appreciated help in moving the event and with publicity – you can download and print the application from this link
