Welcome back to our FAVORITE food vendor, the team at Blazin’ BBQ! Since their first visit, all of Norwich has learned that “It’s the WOOD that makes it GOOD”! Some of the best mac-and-cheese anywhere in Connecticut, and perfectly cooked brisket and pulled pork. Come on down to Juneteenth and GET YOU SOME!

 BJ’s Sausage & Dogs is back with us for another year, bringing his smile and his fabulous selection of food to the festival.

Mr. Barboza has hot dogs, kielbasa, Georgia Hots, Chips, Candy, Cookies – great summer food and snack options.

If you’ve ever seen his cart outside of the Norwich Courthouse, you know what a fixture he is in the community. Come on down and get your Georgia Hots!

 

 Sandy Cusano, one of our most consistent and lovable vendors, is back with her hand sewn crafts this year – she’s very creative and always finds something new to bring to the Juneteenth celebration.

Sandy’s quilted items come in many sizes and price ranges, and they go pretty fast, so don’t be late to the festival!

 

 

Back for 2018, the good folks at Bounce-A-Rama keep the kids happy with their fantastic bounce houses.

 

They’ll be at Juneteenth for the entire afternoon from 12 noon to 6 pm, so come on down, bring the kiddos, and let them bounce off some of that early summer energy!

NOTE: Parents / guardians / caregivers must remain near the Bounce House at all times.

 

Clarence “DJ Cee” Neal of Undefeated Entertainment returns to provide the soundtrack for the kickoff of summer this year as our premier DJ for the Juneteenth Festival.

Owned by a CT-based licensed Esthetician and Make Up Artist with 12 years of experience –  Nicole Carson of Carson Aesthetics – they ensure product quality, education and great service for every customer. They’re authorized dealers for all products they carry, and you can also find them at the BLVD Flea Market every weekend.

The Robertsine Duncan Youth Council of the Norwich NAACP will be with us for Juneteenth, selling t-shirts with wisdom from Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr emblazoned on the front of the shirt.

The shirts are priced at $10 each, please bring cash for purchase.

The Norwich NAACP and the Robertsine Duncan NAACP Youth Council, along with the League of Women Voters, will be conducting Voter Registration at Juneteenth. If you need to get registered, change your party affiliation, correct any inaccurate information on your registration, or just want information on polling places, come on down to the Juneteenth Festival and look for the Voter Information signs.

NOTE: The NAACP (including the Robertsine Duncan NAACP Youth Council) is non-partisan and does NOT endorse candidates or political parties or engage in direct campaigning – please do NOT bring / leave campaign literature to the table. The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan organization and does not support or oppose candidates or political parties at any level of government.

CRAFT and MERCHANDISE VENDOR APPLICATION INFORMATION**

We need your name, mailing address, email address and best contact phone number, and a fax number if available. We also need a description of your merchandise and / or craft items that will be offered for sale, and a contact person (if that is not you)

** For your exclusivity – Merchandise WILL NOT be duplicated – first paid application has priority.

****FAST RESPONSE BONUS: Vendors who submit their forms WITH payment before June 8, 2018 may also have their logo displayed on our event page, and links to their website and Facebook page. Please submit your logo as clean, camera-ready artwork in PDF or as an image (jpg, gif) file to Dianne Daniels at the email listed below.

Please plan ahead to join us today.  The entry fee is $20.00 for craft and merchandise vendors, $21.00 if submitted electronically via PayPal (see below).

If you represent a non-profit that will NOT be selling any product or services at the event, you may reserve a space at no charge – just write “Non-profit – No Sales” on your application before submitting it – do NOT use the PayPal link below.

Applications must be submitted in writing – WITH PAYMENT for craft and merchandise vendors – by June 8, 2018. Applications can be mailed to:
